Summary

A subway ride, a walk, a surprise visit, and two lives are reshaped forever.

O is white and Keith is black. They are old friends. But they long for each other. Today O shows up at Keith's door unannounced, and that may just change everything.

Crew Bios

LUCIE TIBERGHIEN: Lucie Tiberghien has been directing theater in New York for ten years. Some of the writers whose plays she has directed include Craig Wright, Lee Blessing, Richard Dresser, Stephen Belber, Katori Hall, Tommy Smith, and Deborah Laufer. She has helped develop scripts at the O’Neill playwriting conference, the Sundance theater institute and the Cherry Lane. She comes from a dance and music background and used to dance professionally in Paris. Most recently she co-wrote and directed the short film “The Thing We Know”. She is both French and American and now lives in Brooklyn with playwright and screenwriter Stephen Belber and their two children Tobi and Clementine.

JENNIFER MUDGE: most recently appeared off-Broadway as Lula opposite Dulé Hill in Amiri Baraka’s controversial Dutchman, at the Cherry Lane Theatre. She also played Maggie in Gil Cates’ Geffen Playhouse production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with John Goodman and Brenda Fricker. New York Theater: Craig Wright’s The Pavilion, directed by Lucie Tiberghien (Rattlestick Theater); world premiere of Terrence McNally’s The Stendhal Syndrome (Primary Stages); Reckless (Broadway); Rose’s Dilemma (Manhattan Theatre Club); Only the End of the World (Company Charniere). Regional: Arena Stage; Bay Street Theatre; Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Contemporary American Theater Festival; Sundance Theatre Institute; and five seasons as a member of Trinity Rep. under Oskar Eustis’ artistic direction, including Saint Joan, Othello, The Music Man, As You Like It, Into the Woods, Angels in America, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
